SENIOR TENNIS

"This year’s Senior Team as a very strong group of hard working athletes.

The team was led by Alex Sirin who has played tennis at Forest Heights    for the last 4 years. Our girl’s doubles team of Alannah Spurling & Logan Visscher was very strong and reached the semi-finals at WCSSAA.

 

We had 2 athletes qualify for CWOSSA this year.

 Boys Singles: Khaled Khalaf (3rd tie)

 Girls Singles: Aya Khalaf (Silver Medalist)

 

At CWOSSA,

Both Aya & Khaled played exceptional tennis and

they both reached the finals & were Silver Medalists.

This meant that both Aya & Khaled qualified for the OFSAA Tennis

 Championships in June.

 

At OFSAA,

  Both Aya & Khaled played hard & represented Forest Heights well.

   The competition was very strong at OFSAA this year and both Aya &

   Khaled could not make it past the 2nd round of play.

 

A Big round of applause should be given to all members of the Senior      Tennis Team,who played hard & represented our school with pride.
