Curling

"This year we were able to field a senior team, after not having one for a few seasons. Many thanks to Ms Aggarwal for coaching, and Parent coach Mr. Oakley for helping build the teams skills.

The Junior team was very enthusiastic, and improved greatly over the course of the season. They were coached by Ms Hilliard. We look forward to seeing some of these players on the Intermediate team next year.

The Intermediate team qualified for the county playoffs, and although they did not win, they made some great shots during this tournament. Many thanks to parent coach Mrs. McVicar for all her help improving the team’s skills this year.

Overall it was a short but enjoyable curling season. Many members of the intermediate and senior teams are graduating this year, but we are looking forward to the return of many grade 9, 10 and 11 students."
